| Description: | RMSC is located one hour and a half from Panama City, at Playa Rio Mar in the town of San Carlos. In this area of the Bay of Panama there are 12 additional surf breaks that are within a 20 minute drive from RMSC. In the town of San Carlos there are many stores, a hospital, a police station and a variety of inexpensive restaurants.
Nearby, at Playa Coronado, there is a large supermarket and many other modern facilities. So, while you are at RMSC you can feel very safe and can find almost anything you may need. Playa Rio Mar is a two minute walk from RMSC.
The facilities at RMSC include 8 rooms, a kitchen, a bohio, a swimming pool, a half pipe & a skate bowl.
Here are some traveling tips:
You may leave your wetsuits at home; the water is always warm, but you may wish to bring a rash guard and a quality sunscreen for protection from the sun. Booties are a very good idea for the rocks and reefs. Pack mosquito repellant, a ding repair kit, and a good all-around board.
